I did, but decided that the savings were so minimal it wasn't worth installing solar to offset car charging costs. I charge for 8c/kWh from the grid. That translates to 500km of driving costs me $5.40. I do 1500-2000km a month, so I spend $15-20 a month on “fuel”.
Note: some EV electricity plans increase the rates you pay on other electricity usage. Others do not.
