Thanks guys.
Hey Bill, I'm heading to Bali next week with Garuda- should be OK though ;)

welcome and have fun in bali!

Thanks CoolK, the aim is to rest and recuperate, sleep in a bit, laze by the pool, get pampered at the spa, do a bit of scuba diving, etc, etc, and there most definitely will be a spot of fun had over the next few weeks as well. Counting down the days. . . .

These are enforced holidays (Self-employed workaholic). Have been spending a few weeks in Bali each Melbourne winter since 2006.
Got it worked out now- leave single digit temps in Melbourne and arrive to 29 degrees Bali, so I acclimatise by spending my first week in the mountains at Ubud, then down to the sun and the beach at Nusa Dua for a few more weeks. I'm not a fan of Kuta or Legian these days, but love spending time in Seminyak, some good restaurants, good music and even some great wine purveyors.
