Garuda Back To Adelaide

Garuda will recommence flights to Adelaide this year as part of an aggressive route expansion plan.

The airline is set to launch three flights per week in either late October or early November to coincide with the start of the Northern hemisphere
winter schedules.

If Allah is your god actually that's probably rather poor taste, but wasn't it that Garuda flight that the pilot was recording praying when crashed rather than flying the plane in the 2007 incident ?

Pity I won't fly you, or recommend you to anyone else.

(although - when was the last time an ex-Australian airport Garuda plane crashed? I know they're an airline of ill-repute, but find it hard to actively explain that to others... )

I have heard they use their better equipment/crews to oz (after having had a couple of planes stuck here in the past when no one was willing to sign them off)

As i believe they also used to send there newest A/C to Europe when they were allowed or still are allowed an exceptions for some special leased and maintained A/C.
I have never flown them and i have no desire to do so until they prove they are really serious about safety. I do know people who have flown them and said the flight was fine..... oh well there choice.

I don't think there is any exceptions to the EU now, and I think any Garuda flight you find to that pert of theworld is actually a codeshare on MH or the like.

That was also my thoughts but i was not sure so i thought it better to err on the side of caution and i know somebody else would know. To be honest not something that interests me since no matter how much they improve i cant see myself flying.
