Funny incidence at SQ DEL Lounge

Not cribbing, but I think have had the funniest moment of my life with SQ DEL Lounge angel

On presenting my Platinum card she said sorry we can not grant you access to the lounge, only gold is allowed, I did explain WP is a status level above SG she was not very happy, said will need to check with the manager, eventually was let in but didn't see this one coming.

Now to wait for my delayed flight. Are 20 minutes adequate at Changi to get off the plane, change terminal and be in the next plane, I know the answer but just wondering if I will be lucky and will the baggage make it and I don't what happens in that case ?

With a change of terminal, almost no chance at all I'm afraid

just landed at SIN, the connection time when flight would be on time was 1 hr, right now it is 30 minutes, being on a VA ticket could not select seat earlier and now will be the last one to disembark

The flight was delayed so that is why there was a 20 min connection.

Couldn't give you anything decent as a Plat? Poor form SQ/VA
Doubt you or your bags will make the connection anyway. Just hoping you and your bags stay together, else it'll just rub salt into a wound for delays.

Happened to me in KHI where they thought my QF WP wasn't going to let me into the lounge but my QR Gold would..

at times I wonder if VA needs to join an alliance, atleast customer experience would be more streamlined
