Full Body Scanners in CNS

landed in transit today CNS, I see they have a new setup which includes a full body scanner, however it's not in use yet
looks like it's under commsissioning. What's a few more Gamma rays anyway? :rolleyes:

Meh if some overworked dude or dudette wants to check out a blurred copy of my private bits...

As for the additional radiation... I doubt I will very alive for long enough for the coughulative travel to matter.

Its been already shown that air travellers get a good dose of radiation from flying already.

Australia has adopted the scanners and they are not the X-ray/gamma ray based scanners. They are millimetre wave scanners.

If it speeds up security then I'm all for it. Not necessarily at CNS but if somewhere like LHR adopted it and I could whizz through security in 30 seconds instead of the usual 30 minute wait then bring it on.
 
Anything that speeds up the ridiculously long time it takes to get through CNS screening is a good thing.
