Comprehensively, is there a Carrier in Australia that outstrips the others for the frequent OS traveller, not just to the US or Europe or Asia for that matter?

For the person who travels monthly to all destinations worldwide and calls back to Australia regulary, but not game to switch on roaming through fear of a massive bill, and not happy with paying $4/minute for calls received or calls initiated. For the person who does not always have internet access, only nightly when in the hotel room.

For the someone who doesnt want to have a SIM for every country, but likes to keep their identity number on the business card.

Does this actually exist or is it a myth?
