Actually it is both and english people should accept both and stop bleating about "its football not soccer". Soccer is a shortened form of Association Football coined IN ENGLAND from the dawn of the game.

A tip from a newbie, for newbies : remember always that the FF point your chasing is worth just 1 cent to redeem, in most cases.

If the worth of chasing 500 points is only $5, some choices re: time/money/effort versus benefit, become much easier.

I have done a lot of flying over the years and have Qantas Lifetime Gold status and have been AA Executive Platinum for 3 years. Since reaching Qantas Lifetime Platinum status I have not credited a single flight to Qantas FF and now credit all OneWorld flights to AA for the better redemption rate.
Qantas Lifetime GOLD l think.

Unless l've missed something?

I'm only sitting on 16k worth of points at the moment. Got it upto 70k, but thought, what the heck? So l did a whY PER to MEL, then J return SYD to PER.
Got to see Dokic at the Aussie open which was fun and K-Fed vs Safin.

Freudian slip I presume? Have you set a target to aim for AA 2MM and lifetime PLAT?
I am currently at about 700K lifetime miles with AA, and have just about enough Amex and Diners points to make it to 1MM and Lifetime Gold AAdvantage status. I am not going to rush to cross that mark as it also bring with it some extra eVIPs and I have more eVIPs in my account than I can use myself this year as part of my Exec Plat status for the year. As I am not expecting to retain EXP next year, the eVIPs may come in handy a little later.

2MM is a long way off and I don't know how likely I am to attain that milestone. I am happy with my reduced travel load and spending more time with my family than ever before. So at the moment I am not looking for travel opportunities and content to use my QF Gold status for lounge and other travel benefits and keep steadily accruing to my AA account as and when I do fly.

Yes, indeed should read Lifetime Gold :oops:.

Hi everyone, sorry for the question (only just finally joined after years of reading...) but one of my colleagues has QFF LT Platinum At first I didn't believe him but his WP membership card has no expiry, and he logged on and indeed it states Lifetime Platinum.

Is anyone else aware of this level?
