On this site most the forum pages use 'frames'. As you read this, look at the top of the page. You will see where the white background for the advertising frame finishes and the grey background of the forum frame starts. These can be adjusted.

Line up your mouse pointer on this white to grey border. Hold the left mouse button down then move the mouse up while still holding the button down. The border should move with the mouse cursor. I.e. you are "Dragging" the border up. When you have it where you want, release the mouse button.

The pages I am viewing do not use frames - I have been right into the source, and not a mention of frames (and I am proficient in HTML and Javascript).

The PHP versions are not frames. But if you enter via the main http://www.frequentflyer.com.au/discus/index.htm page, you get holder frame and the PHP page in a second frame.

So avoid the frames, and hence the extra advertising, by going to http://www.frequentflyer.com.au/ and opening a thread from the recent posting list. This will open the PHP page in its own window (no frame). From there click on the forum name adjacent to the New Topic and Post Reply buttons just above the message. That will open the forum topic list in a window and not a frame.

Notwithstanding anything else; if you enter this site from the main URL and use the "discusion forum" link the ad banner will appear.

This can be hidden by "Dragging" as described in my previous post.
