Jet Airways features prominently on that list. I wonder why?

Dave
Maybe because there's proportionally a lot more Indian's ...

I know the Freddies are important to many, but I really do not rate them at all.

My understanding is that in the way the votes are counted issues of population sizes are dealt with. The important thing for the voting is how highly they ranked on average rather than the raw number of votes.

The issue I see is that it is hard to compare programs if you are only a member of one or two.

And here is me thinking it was just sheer weight of numbers.

Time to have a look at the Jet Airways FF program so I can compare accurately to other Oneworld FF programs. Highly unlikely that I will ever sample their excellent cabin service or even their excellent customer service centre. Any chance their customer service centre is in Manila?

Jet Airways has a number of OneWorld partners (e.g. QF), but they are not, AFAIK, a oneWorld member. I ahve not studied the program ub great detail, but it looked reasonable. Even with its Dynamic Tier System thing (which looks a bit like the Hilton rolling tier thing)

Where is V Australia sourcing it's 777ERs from? or are they new?

Now there's a question from left field! I believe they are new.

Reasonable does not make it the best FF program. Anyway am I mistaken in thinking that Jet Airways has been invited to join Oneworld? As far as I know they already have partnerships with Qantas and British Airways possibly more Oneworld airlines.

I have no idea what JetAirways' FF program is like, but if it's anything like their service onboard, I can see why they ranked so highly.

I have only heard of it in the context of Air India joining Star, and what Jet Airways might be able to do. Don't remember any firm news about them joining OW.
