Re: QF32 388 - emergency landing in SIN after Engine failure

Thanks for the reminder. Looks like this story might be a bit more in-depth than the 60minutes one.

I was listening to Kerry O'Brien talking on ABC Radio about tonight's episode of Four Corners.

"QF32 offers a gripping forensic account of a truly terrifying mid-air incident"

Sounds like it is not to be missed...
Four Corners - 28/03/2011: QF32

Re: 4 Corners

From memory you can not view iview outside of Australia unless this has recently changed...?

Ah, fair point! From the iview FAQ:

  • Can I access ABC iview overseas?
    • ABC iview is geo-blocked, which means that you can't access the programs from overseas. This is due to programming rights management, which prevent us from making this content available in markets other than Australia.
However, there's probably a good chance that tonight's programme will also be loaded to Four Corners - Video On Demand after screening.

On VOD now... not sure if this can be viewed OS or not...?

Recording something else ... no time to watch at the moment; However, I see 4 Corners tomorrow night 11:40pm - is this a repeat of tonight's show?

Yes and it will probably be repeated on one of the digital channels as well during the week.

Re: Qf 32 four corners

4 Corners used to be a hard hitting current affairs program. It is fairly similar to 60 minutes - basically telling us the the story.

We all know that - everyone wants to know the story from Rolls Royce, who are still in hiding.

Pretty good so far, great QF have allowed full access. Makes me feel really safe with QF pilots hearing the story in detail.

Wonder if Rolls Royce will make an appearance or are they still hiding?!?

As Alan Joyce said communication was the key. Be available and always tell the truth and you can get through a crisis.

Wonder if there will be an ACI episode in the near future given the amount of detail shown here?
