It seems the pages are loading slow today..

Normally gets down to loading the header and pauses for apx 30secs.
I did notice that the second ad banner is often timing out ?

AFF is slow for me today and I'm using Dad's bigpond. Other websites are opening fine for me.

AFF has been suspended twice today, the first at 1530 AEDST, caused by traffic resulting from the QF32 engine failure over Indonesia.

I would submit that this might still be dragging performance for the moment.

It has been noted that the website has performed slowly for a while, since the last major upgrade or so, but those two failures today when the news of QF32 struck were a little annoying.

The site is "up to it's neck" in server issues today.

I note we still haven’t eclipsed the most users ever online of almost 1100 on the 15th July 2009, though the notable aviation incident for that day was a Caspian Air Tuploev crashing in Iran! I’d have thought a Qantas scare would bring more traffic.

It has been noted that the website has performed slowly for a while, since the last major upgrade or so, but those two failures today when the news of QF32 struck were a little annoying.

I would be surprised if that was the cause of the AFF downtime earlier.

AFF is still a little slow though.
