For shops on the Qantas Mall, can you go to the stores and buy in person?

Hi all,

I have a couple of questions on the Qantas Mall:

1) If the shop on Qantas Mall earns 8 points per $1, and the card I pay earns me 2 points per $1, then does that mean I earn 10 points per $1? Or is it only the 8 points from the Qantas Mall?

2) Is it possible to not buy through the mall, but instead go in person to the shops and buy there? Do the shops have a system which adds FF points in person? Many of the shops are clothing shops, so I'd like to try them on in person for sizing etc.

Thanks!

You will get both the points from the Qantas Mall, and the relevant points from your credit card

The Qantas Mall requires the purchase to be online (although some may offer the ability to pick up instore - but the purchase needs to be done online)

100% needs to be done online. Very few retailers out there that accept frequent flyer card at the actual store (I think Hoyts and Oroton).
