Given I am in new places. I wanted to add new footprints to my profile. I can't find it anywhere. Has it been removed? If so, may I ask why?

What are "footprints" in this context?

Footprints is (or was) a feature of the AFF smartphone app where you could 'check-in' to a location, add photo of the location etc. Similar to Facebook check-in, or a Four Square check-in. I haven't used it for a while since I moved away from iPhone to a Samsung Note 3 but would definitely use it again if its possible.
