Hi,

We are a family of five travelling to London from Melbourne and return from Barcelona on Qatar. The flight codes are O and T so will earn no QFF points. At the moment all our FF points are with Qantas. What other FF program is worth joining to credit some points somewhere. Not sure that we would be flying anywhere with Qatar again soon.

Currently have all credit cards earning QFF, but once we earn another 100,000 points to redeem for five 140,000 round the world tickets am happy to change the credit cards to earn points towards another program.

Any advice?

Thanks

Fik

You can get Qmiles (points) for a primary family member and pool other family members at 25% if you join QR Privilege Club
Their Q-calculator is here:

MileageCalculator

or consider maybe Malaysian (MH) that would credit 25% each person on Qatar "O" and 50% miles each person on your Qatar "T".

Not sure if MH have family pooling?
This easy to use web page app. may help

Cheers, and enjoy your QR flights.

BA would credit at 25% too. AA would earn but I'm not sure if it's 25% or 12.5%

Thanks for the replies, especially the link to the table. Will look into those suggestions.

Another factor is usability of miles.
As long as you can provide a non-Australian address, BA would be good as you can put the miles into a household account. You could use it for some decent value domestic redemptions (In Au US or EU). (Don't worry about the address too much-the only things they send there are status cards)

Some info on BA household accounts below:

PS: agree about the table-good resource
