Leaving Heathrow for Melbourne on Christmas Eve arriving Boxing Day morning, any one got any experience of this flight? Is it likely to be busy or might I be able to . stretch out. Looking at the seating plan at the moment it's not packed by any means but what's the chances of it staying like that? Flying Emirates EK8006. Thanks

My daughter found her Christmas Day flight from LHR both less crowded, and very festive onboard.

I'm guessing you mean EK6, which codeshares as QF8006? Connecting to EK406 to MEL? Economy so far seems reasonably full, though not completely. Business and First class is showing as fairly empty so far.

Would Emirates do anything special for Christmas, being a Middle Eastern airline?

Not sure what the giveaway here is but I will take 2 thanks. :D

Sorry everyone, I am new to this and realise I am in the giving away freebies section...sorry. But appreciate done of the comments.
