I'll be flying BNE-CNS-BNE next month. Any ideas what side to sit on for the best views?

I'm guessing on the right side on the way up and the left side on the way down.

I'd be grateful for any thoughts.

If you sat on the right on the way up you’d see a lot of ocean surely, if it was a clear day of course. I’d have guessed the left would give you a better view of the coast and any land.

I would sit on the left hand side on the way up, as the most common route is east of the main route back. If the weather is clear and you land at CNS from the south you will get a great view of the Bellenden Ker range coming in to CNS.

On the way back the routing is more inland so again the left hand side. Travelling south you usually travel inland south of Rockhampton and leave the Coast.

Cheers skip

What do you want to see, the route up is BNE-ROK-TSV-CNS, so on the right will give you good reef views.
