Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Still stuck at $110 for 2k points and 4x$90 for 10k points. Will keep going with the $20-$30 spends until the algorithm comes to its senses...

No idea how it works.

I’ve done about 4/5 months with these $70/4 week offers and the offer has never changed. I thought the algorithm might have increased my potential spend to see if I’ve perhaps become accustomed to a converted Coles shopper.

I’m spending well over the $70 minimum so thought they might be temped to go higher so I don’t potentially shift spend back to Woolworths.

Flybuys keeps sending me big bonus points.

Spend $170, 10k. I did it, and the following day again!

I dont know whats going on, but ER sends me nothing.

Just got an email to say I can now redeem Flybuys points for a discount at checkout up to 20,000 points at a time instead of the normal 2000 points.

This announcement was also what - apparently - passes for page 3 headline news in the Hun this morning...

Just got offered 3000 points for joining Coles Plus Saver for a month for $7 (apparently 4000 points are also on offer if targeted). Will re-sign and cancel before I head off OS next month.

4000 points here

So then as we are crossing over two months we can access x2 10% off for $7. Combine that with the 4 week/10k offer I’ve got, Woolworths won’t see me until at least September. I’ve cancelled the EDR extra now.

Spend $40 in one or more shops at Liquorland each fortnight for a month = 3,000pts. 23 Jul - 9 Aug & 10 Aug - 23 Aug

Fortnight 1 = 1,000pts
Fortnight 2 = 1,000pts
Plus 1,000pts for doing both

7600 for $190 spend by Tuesday. Given I will be doing the final four week $130 shop on Monday anyway* that might be worth the stretch

*I will have to get the points manually allocated since there was an online order shortfall in week 2, so if I shop and then chase up on Monday, I should already have the points on Tuesday, for a conveniently timed transfer.

Spend $130 for 5200 points. I had a booze order to collect tomorrow that exceeds this considerably (so much for my attempts to get my spend down!), so this is a nice surprise indeed (CHEERS20 and PLAY20, plus Coles Plus Saver meant it was cheap!)
