guess it depends on how close you are to your neighbours. I’ve certainly collected mail/papers/wine etc, moved bins, looked after cats … for neighbours. So I’d do this (whether or not they told me why they were doing it) for some neighbours and am pretty sure they would do for me for a couple of weeks.I buy groceries for my mum in law - we buy her groceries from time to time anyway. I don't think I'd ask someone else to hold my groceries though.

Sure, I probably wouldn’t do this more because there are only a limited set of (non perishable) things you could buy, except of course if the limit was very low.I think it might raise a few questions if it wasn't right before you returned. Also heavily depend on what you order, and what sort of delivery slot you booked!
