Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Is it jus me??
Coles/Flybuys just don’t have the same appeal with this big question mark over Virgin/Velocity.
I’ve shifted all my shopping to Woolworths Rewards.
An offer of 10,000 FB points for 4x$160 spend at Coles isn’t attractive enough anymore.

The most attractive part of Flybuys points had been converting to Virgin/Velocity points.
With the current cloud over Virgin, there’s also a big cloud over Flybuys/Coles for me...

Looks like I got one of the offers on the low spend end at $50. Been a while to get an offer so I’m happy.

If you have any other people in your household (regardless of FB/WR etc) you should create a totally separate account for each person. That way the hurdle rate can drop and perhaps you can get 20,000 points for a $100 (2 x $50) spend.

Just a suggestion...

On the attractiveness point - I strongly suspect that if VA mk2 does not eventuate then FB will find another partner (or partners) other than Q to be able to transfer points across to. Hopefully SIA as a start.... :D

Singapore Air would be a plus!
That’s where my 150K Velocity points went, just before the transfers were stopped.

Nothing like sending an email to flybuys letting them know how people feel....

Uncertainty of outcome making me think of switching my shopping to Woolworths so I can earn Qantas points however if Flybuys was to arrange transfers to other airlines such as could be done through VFF previously, then I would continue to focus my shopping on Coles, Coles Express, Liquorland etc etc

If you don't ask...

One off 2000 pts for $100 expires today... 4 weeks of $100/week for 10K points on offer
Meh....
At least Sara Lee 1L ice cream is on sale....

Perhaps it would be useful to have more grocery wandering

Collect 10,000 BONUS POINTS or $50 off your shop

Spend $80 in one shop at Coles, each week for 4 weeks!

One of 6 accounts received $90 * 4 for 10k points.

The other 5 accounts feel stiffed as some had been getting regular 2k for one of $90 to $110 spends (not all taken)

EDIT: Just noticed - the offer come at 6.41pm whereas it appears from above as though they have been coming in since before 3.00pm. Other 5 accounts remaining hopeful - would prefer less than $90. :)

You can always use FB points for Flybuys travel ..... Yes I know it is not the same as sending points to Krisflyer but sometimes during airline super sales it is cheaper to use FB points on Flybuys travel to redeem tickets.

So on one of the other accounts, I just received an email reminding me not to miss out on 10k points. I logged into the app and saw the same offer as above, but never received an email. It was for $60 * 4 for 10k points.

I then logged into all the other accounts and sure enough 3 of the remaining 4 also had similar offers but never received and email (nor the reminder email). There was another $60 * 4 for 10k points and the other 2 were $70 * 4 for 10k points.

One account (mine) got squat.
