Fly ahead - with a fee

Not true, did it a couple of weeks ago Melbourne to Sydney on Friday afternoon. Originally booked on 5.15pm moved to 4.30pm with no dramas.

That was my TR, and verbatim what the lounge angel told me.
 
I flew ahead tonight from SYD-MEL on a points booking, no drama at all

Just asked if they were flying ahead and she said yes

1.5 hours early home :)

Perhaps we need to split this thread.....or change it's name.

I think the "Fly Ahead - with a fee" rumour has been well and truly scotched by now and the thread of late has been discussing other "Fly Ahead" issues/rumours. As it seems to be the current "Fly Ahead" thread, maybe changing the name may be appropriate. "Fly Ahead - without a fee"?
