Flighty app

Oh dear, has anyone told the Captain (given we’ve already pushed pack and are about to taxi to the runway)?? 😜

Actually, Flighty is having conniptions when it comes to the aircraft as it’s changed repeatedly from an “A380-800” to an “A380” and back again over the last few days, including 3 times in the last 2 mins.
I get the same every time I'm on QF1/2, from about a week out it'll switch between those two aircraft types. I assume that one of the A380s has been listed slightly differently to the others and as the assigned aircraft changes operationally it triggers the seemingly pointless alert.

Flighty having conniptions again.

My flight Brisbane to Hobart yesterday schedule departure time 11:45 am.

They started slowly, a couple of hours beforehand with departure change to 11:35 am and then 10 minutes later back to 11:45.
As the departure “time“ approached the notification became quicker, reaching every few minutes or so by the time we pushed back.

They continued for 15 minutes after we landed in Hobart!

Bit of an interesting comment from the United CEO, he's floated the idea of United buying Flighty, mostly for the talent in the team, rather than the app itself. At this stage it just looks like a thought bubble, rather than something serious.
There'd be obvious privacy concerns as it'd give United an insight into a traveller's entire flying history and info, not just their travel with United.
