Most years there is some story of someone seeing in NYE in Sydney, boarding a flight and then doing it all again. Usually heading to the US. Although if being done by ‘celebs’ I guess they’re taking their own, as no Aus-US flights listed in the linked article.

Yep, like in 2012 when a few celebs arrived in a private 747, partied in Sydney then met it at Canberra for the flight to vegas
