Flights disappearing from expert flyer and requests to bump people

Just a quick one.
i am flying on QF AKL-SYD this evening at 18:30. Last nigh one of my colleagues (NB) got a call to ask if he wanted to move to an earlier flight as this was oversold and they couldn't guarantee his seat. He wasn't keen so they went on to call someone else.
I assumed this has scupered my upgrade request given the flight is oversold and I haven't had the points for my upgrade deducted yet.
However i thought I mitt check on EF to seat what the flight looks like and in fact it's not showing at all. Is that normal?
They are showing two flights around 3pm but no flights post that...
This gives me a little concern...
On the upside my upgrade request isn't showing as denied... So there might be some hope...
Any thoughts?

However, it is now showing as on time - cheers.

QF is spitting out some interesting data, looking at the WAP portal:

Departures Results Flight #: QF44 To: Sydney Due: 18:30 Actual: 18:30 Status: Estimated

Only comes up when you ask for departures at 8PM though.

Reinforces the Sydney-centric nature of QF. They get very confused by any timezone other than Sydney.

Must admit there was the odd time on radar or in the tower when I came across a QF pilot that thought they owned Sydney Airport, and that was before Macbank took over!

From my experience also, it seems to be a home town thing.
The F-111 guys think they own Amberley,
The F-18 guys think they own Williamtown,
The Central flying School guys think they own East & West Sale etc......
