Flights delayed because of haredi (ultra-Orthodox) male Jewish passengers

IMO, I think this is appalling and unacceptable. Anybody else acting in this manner would be removed from the aircraft.

It seems that this is a semi regular occurrence for El Al however, so maybe an option to select seat partner options ( with a higher fee) would be beneficial for them.

Why is that the men of certain religions don't think they can control their base emotions? If you believe you can't go out in public without being tempted by what you see, one has to question why they're out in public at all.

And I demand pretty women to be seated next to me.

Be careful what you wish for. I once had a dancer from a Cats production as a seat buddy. Very good on the eyesight, however the diet that allowed her to keep the appearance wasn't the best for my olfactory receptors.

we should invent a religion that forbids us to sit next to anyone, free comfort seat.

There is one, it's called 'WP'. Check the threads, lots of whinging whenever they have to sit next to anyone in Y ;)

Ive had to sit next to people in Y, I always thought this WP shadow thing was an urban myth. I sometimes get a comfort seat but always thought this was just the lounge angels being nice.

Didn't want to start another thread but a lady on a El Al flight is suing the airline after objecting to moving for a male passenger.

Renee Rabinowitz, 81, who fled naz_s as a child, says ultra-Orthodox Jew objected to sitting next to a woman on El Al flight
A retired lawyer who fled the naz_s as a child is suing the Israeli national airline El Al for alleged discrimination after being asked to move on a plane when an ultra-Orthodox Jew objected to sitting next to a woman.
Renee Rabinowitz, 81, is being supported by the Israel Religious Action Center, which has campaigned against ultra-Orthodox efforts to enforce the segregation of men and women and to have images of women removed from public hoardings.

Hmm

Interesting the outrage expressed here which is in the main understandable.

However there is usually not a squeak in the mainstream media against airline policy of relocating child passengers away from male passengers presumably because male passengers cannot be trusted.

Sexism??

Media can't be seen acting as MRA can they?
