hi all

I had my first DJ/VA flights a week or so back and the flights credited after a couple of days but it is not showing any reduction in the number of required eligible sectors:

Review Date 29 Aug 2012
Status Credits earned since 29 Aug 20111 - 40
Additional Status Credits required to maintain Platinum by 29 Aug 2012 - 760
Additional sectors required to maintain Platinum by 29 Aug 2012 - 8

Any thoughts?

I also wondered what was happening in mine....then read the fine print and found this is why...

[SUP]2[/SUP] Eligible sectors will only be a part of your membership assessment from August 2012

Its an error I would suggest, they should be counting :

17.22 We will not assess your Membership Level based on the number of Eligible Sectors flown until August 2012, however, we will calculate the number of Eligible Sectors you have flown from August 2011.

That doesnt make any sense then - it clearly says I need 8 eligible sectors by 29 August 2012.

Yep...agreed

I wonder if the system will just do a countback on 1 August next year?

My eligible sectors are not showing the 2/3 flights since going Plat on Sept 1 either.

I say 2/3 because I got the SCs for Plat on a flight on Aug 29, they credited on Aug 31, but status review was Sep 1. Unfortunately my next flight after hitting 1000 SCs was on Aug 31, and whilst they credited on Sep 2, they backdated to Aug 31 and didn't count towards my requal.

I've raised this with Velocity and they are investigating, but it's a bit of a flaw in the system where the delay in posting can cause the next flight not to credit towards requalfication. The flight credits are backdated to the day they happen, but the status review isn't.
