I have staff travel (my son is Q pilot). My sister has now been added, and when there is an upgrade to business, she gets it and I don't. Is it because the letter of her first name is before mine? My son checked, onboarding I have priority, but for upgrades we show as equal. Not a happy mum lol!!

How upgrades are processed is a very well kept secret. Other than what's published about status having priority, no one here actually knows, its all just speculation on our part.
However I was under the impression that discounted staff travel was always well below the upgrading of customers.
