Flight upgrade requests on QF sale fares

Greetings All

I am on QF6 Sin to Syd on 23rd Aug on a sale fare, which is non upgradable due to sale fare rules. :shock:

Has anyone had an email from QF to say they can now request a upgrade on sale or Red eDeal saver etc, international fares?. I have had this in past history but was interested in current experiences

There was one a few weeks ago reported here, it had a very small window.

Like to know this myself doing just that, 19th Oct. HKG/SYD would upgrade my red e if its possible.

I only found the last offer by checking my booking regularly, as not everyone gets an email, but the offer seems to be open to almost everyone. Thats the best I can suggest.

I've found in the past that I can request an upgrade if there's an offer even if I don't get the offer.
