Flight tracking ..what can I use?

Hi,

My daughter has just departed ona Singapore Airlines flight to Paris via Singapore.

Does anyone know of any flight tracking websites that I can track her flight (SQ 228) on??

You could try Melbourne Airport - Live Flight Radar - Melbourne Airport's 'radar'. I don't know how scientific/accurate it is though. It may just move the 'blip' one inch every hour or whatever. SQ228 is chugging along there.

Do you actualy want to physically track the flight - or do you want to simply see whether she is arriving on tim etc.? Not sure about SQ but EK used to have a function that would show eta etc. for a particular flight. I used it to monitor that my parents were arriving on time.

To watch the flight...my wife finds it re-assuring.

Live Tracker was good to Singapore.

But she is now on SQ334...and the Melb Airport System stops at Singapore.

You can track the flight status on SQ's website Singapore Airlines

But I haven't found any freely available live(ish) flight tracking maps in this part of the world.

According to Singapore Airlines Flight Status Tool the aircraft is due in Paris at 05:59 today. (15:59 AEDST).

I am currently using
Track Flight Status, Airport Delays and other Flight and Airport Information



Which does not track drectly but which shows status and other info such as weather.

So I know that she left late, but will be arriving early.

It will confirm when she has landed..which will make her mother happier.
