I was told by being a frequent flyer member your flight prices would be reduced and that you could get up to half the price off. I tried looking it up but got confused so I thought I'd ask if anyone new the answer. As my husband will need to make regular flights from Perth to Melbourne and back again and the cheeper the flights the better. The cheeper the better however he only likes Qantas, so if anyone could help I would be grateful.

They're only reduced in the sense that by using points he could possibly get some "free" flights, or if he would be travelling in business class he could instead pay for economy flights and upgrade using points. Neither is guaranteed. There's certainly no FF discount or anything like that.
