Qantas Platinum One experiences?

[Vic]

Newbie Plat one - a couple of months
Booked a simple golden trianle return today on 737. Went to do seat selection to see that I was already allocated my preferred seat, 4D, automatically. none of the "aisle" preference.
That's nice and platinum one related

Did 133 CHC-BNE and 112 AKL-PER both in paid J - the Kiwi crews are really bloody outstanding. Both flights I was adressed as Mr X every time they spoke to me and general fun banter and conversations with them, continually asking me and the young fella whether we needed anything - compared to my last J across the country where I was grunted at for asking for a drink

The Perth T3 arrivals is still an absolute cluster - despite complaining every time and someone telling me it's getting fixed.

6 months left of P1 so trying to find some ways to enjoy it - hopefully an invite or 2

Side note: does anyone know if they can see flight history on tablets - had it a couple times where they have said I fly more than them - not sure if it's a general comment or backed by facts.
