Just discovered this sad news myself. I used to drop in once a month for a good read. I hope Captain Dave is ok. I'll certainly miss the blog if he has gone for good.

Here's the useful bit from that link:

Here's what I know: I've been in a brief email exchange with Capt. Dave and he tells me that he may well be back in the future with Flight Level 390 but with another blogging platform.
