Flight Attendant's list of WPs

I was carrying the most impressive possible status any traveller can ever have. It's my secret weapon that guarantees top-notch treatment on every flight.

No status credits or mileage runs required.

I get priority board on every flight on every airline, loads of freebies, and extremely attentive cabin crew on 100% of flights.

.........solo dad flying with an infant.

Been there, done that (wait until the teenage years!!) - I'll keep my shiny card and generally being ignored, thanks!!

Regards,

BD

Appears to be a very random thing, and very FA dependent.
Since I've been P1, I've not had the "anything I can do for you" visit, but did have it a few times as WP.
Interestingly, on a recent Qantas Link flight, I was in 1B and chatting with the FA who asked me what was the difference between Platinum one and Platinum. Seems to indicate that training in that area is a bit casual!
Agree - very CSM dependent. Classic illustration of QF inconsistency.
Doesn't surprise me QF Link knowledge is less. Not a criticism per se. Almost all QF Link FAs I fly with seem very junior and inexperienced (but enthusiastic and helpful). Suspect the subtleties of WP and the not-really-a-separate-status P1s is not high on the list of priorities at this stage of a career.
