FLEX fare giving discount economy status credits

Attempting to book Sydney to Singapore using the Flex option and its giving the above under the frequent flyer part of the fare.

Greasemonkey script says B on way out and Y on the way back.

One way Singapore Sydney in Y fare class is also showing the same as above.

The only international fare that gives you full economy SC's is Y (and PE).

Anything below is discount SC's. It is all labelled in the points earning table.

It is different to domestic economy.

I don't think the information in that popup changes based on which fare bucket your ticket falls into. It's just default text because all international fares in economy earn at discount Y. AFAIK, you cannot choose to book into the Y fare bucket on the web site.

If your actual ticket shows Y for the return leg you should get double the number of SCs of the outbound leg.

If you want a full Y fare ring the call centre not much more than the next discounted fare plus trans costs
