I was never "In".

Guess that leaves me as a "drug dealer" or "corporate fraudster" according to acampbel. I am neither! Just like the extra room up front and can afford to sit there.

In an out-of-Forum settlement, bossreggie and acampbel have agreed to desist contributing to the thread "Flat beds in Economy??" The full details are subject to a secrecy clause, but are believed to include a full apology from bossreggie for any slight caused to sober, tax-paying passengers. For his part, acampbel has agreed not to mention the unfortunate medical condition that prevents bossreggie from achieving a certain level of satisfaction in the economy class loos.

Routers.

This is all a joke, right?

If you want decent sleep then book a hotel room, not a flight.

I think the original article was "real" in the sense that airlines are always exploring ways to improve the flight experience. If you could sell flat beds in whY then it would be a great differentiator and could attract a reasonable premium.

It is similar to the ying/yang seating that was mentioned a few months ago - it's just a conceptual exploration. What it does say to me is that the airlines are thinking about innovations which is great. Who would have thought 20 years ago that would be able to chat online on board and aircraft to friends around the world whilst watching a movie on a personal tv screen?

It is a nice idea to book a hotel room but it does make it difficult to get from SYD to JFK if you are asleep in the Hilton on George Street...
