FJ450 circling south of CHC for 1:25 hours now after takeoff in apparent emergency

I am ~30km from CHC. Saw It on the approach from south west~10 minutes ago. (unless I mistook the aircraft) It did "cut the corner" compared to normal traffic. Most take a longer straight approach path, especially the EK A380
Is a bird strike from rnz.
The Fiji Airways flight that sparked an emergency callout is currently circling in the air above Canterbury.
It is understood the plane hit a bird during take-off around 2pm on Thursday and had to return to Christchurch Airport.
It is expected to land about 4.30pm.

Edit
Looks like I mistook the aircraft
