Hi all,

This is my first post so please forgive me if this has been covered elsewhere. I have been trawling through posts looking for tips flying to London in J class. This is a long-anticipated holiday and I am keen to take FULL advantage of everything the experience has to offer! :) Have never flown J before so no suggestion is too simple!

Am flying QF31 to London and then QF2 home to Sydney. Is there time to have a shower in the Qantas Club in Singapore before getting back on the plane? I would imagine a show would be quite nice before a 14 hour flight. Any tips for sleeping on a plane - tablets?

Any other tips?

Many thanks

Enjoy your trip, the showers can get quite busy in SIN, so dont forget you have other lounge options that might be less busy such as the Skyview Lounge in the 90 minutes your on the ground.

My three trips to LHR this year have not been good on timing either. Late every time into SIN, so no time to Shower!! :-|

I take a medicinal wine or two to help me sleep.

It is a long trip, even though J offers a little more comfort. Keeping entertained when you are not sleeping is the most important thing for me when I'm not sleeping.

If you go straight to the lounge and then straight to the shower you should be able to get it, if the plane is on time. The shower is a great way to feel half decent.

I tried the skyview lounge last month and it was not busy at all. This was on QF6.
