My first visit to the lounges in BKK (Su....whatever it is). I was in the FCL courtesy of my WP status and it was packed. Stayed for about an hour, a couple of drinks and some food and then out to do some more shopping.. On my way back I thought I'd tryu the business class lounge especially as I'm about to drop to SG :( . What a surprise! Much bigger lounge and practically empty.. Very much the same food and drinks.
My recommendations, perhaps drop into the FCL for a drink and then head over to the business lounge to relax and enjoy the space...:)

What time were you there?

My sole experience was arriving 3 hours prior to the BA9/QF2 rush, it was very Quiet. Once the inbound aircraft landed it was standing room only in both lounges. (Didn't help the Flounge toilets were R/S and Floungers had to use those in the J lounge. Quite a Queue for showers as well).

I was there late afternoon on Tuesday. The champagne in the business lounge was terrible, but the food was pretty much the same. We started in the business lounge and moved to First when it opened.

Got to the Flounge about 16:30 so during the BA9/QF2 rush. I changed lounges after the call for QF2. The Flounge was still quite full while the J lounge was practically empty.
