First flight photo?

Hi

My brother has recently started work with Qantas. Some time in December, he will complete his first flight on an A330. As its not feasible for me to fly over there and greet him, I was hoping it would be possible to get a photo of this special occasion.

As an ocassional watcher of the show "Airport" I remember seeing airport press photographers. Not knowing the immediate location of his first flight just yet, I was curious to know if anyone knew how to get in contact with these press photographers and organise to get a photo taken. The list of airports are small (shanghai, mumbai, etc) so any suggestions/links would be helpful.

Would it be feasible (as a backup option) to contact one of the senior people in a Qantas club and make a request?

I assume you want the photo taken at his destination airport? Don't the A330's only fly to Shanghai currently? I'm sure the cabin crew would be able to help out - easier than trying to 'source' a local photographer in his destination city.

I'd be happy to take some in Sydney for you
