Have flown J on 77W (not impressed) and F on A380 (mind-blowingly good)
Question is, what is the 77W F seating like - are they private suites like the A380?
(I don't mind not having the bar and shower - having done both - bit of a gimmick really)
Really appreciate any advice

F on EK 777s is a suite almost identical to that on the A380s. Excellent but lots of bling:)

We were in F on EK last week. Private suites but no shower or bar. The bar didn't worry me one bit. A shower might have been fun.

If you are travelling with a partner it's easier to see them than when on J as the partition comes down lower.

Loved being able to close that door.

Thankyou for that info Pushka, I must remember that when I get to do my 'dream shower' run ;)

Do EK middle Suites have slide partition like SQ Suites? Any pictures to share?

Can beds in middle Suites make up to double bed like SQ Suites?

No. They are individual suites with sliding doors. There's a partition between the two seats which can be raised for privacy but there's a wall between the two which can't be removed to make a double-bed. Essentially the same as on A380s. Plenty of pics elsewhere on AFF and on the EK web site.

OK I understand 380 / 77W basically same Suites - but when you say there is a partition that can be 'raised for privacy' if it is 'lowered for interaction' how much interaction possible between middle 2 Suites? Full visibility across Suites? Partial?

Edit: I guess this answers my question huh?

It's not full visibility, when we were sitting our shoulders were about the same height as the partition in its lowest setting, so you couldn't see the other persons table unless you kinda raised yourself. That said we aren't tall so if you have a longer body you could probably see over the partition.

Yes it does. The suites are fine for talking. Contact is "limited" though unless you are very athletic, but maybe that's going too far.:)
