I found that shops and especial shopping centres in America as soon as Thanksgiving is over starts with the LOUD carols all the time. It drove me crazy with the cacophony. Australia is nothing like as bad.
 
Travel to many parts of Asia and you wont see anything for Christmas even on Dec 25!
 
I'm on my first visit to the US and over here it is 99% Halloween - 1% Christmas, I am not a fan of Halloween
