FINNAIR - new Business Class AirLounge seat

Are they running the new J seats on all flights from SE Asia to HEL or is it just the luck of the draw? Will be on SIN>HEL next week, and wouldn't mind trying the new interior!

Did HEL-JFK last week in the new J product. Loved it! The designer has really thought about it (there is a video you can watch explaining it - loved the comment that some people may not like it but that’s innovation!) And as a stomach and side sleeper it would have to have been the most comfy I have experienced.

I'm really curious about why this is being asked!

I'm giving away a trade secret here but, since you asked ... On international flights in J or F, I like to be positioned further away from the door used for disembarking because it allows me to scoop up the leftover amenities. Don't judge.

For example, on AY's A359, if only 1L is being used, I'd take a seat off the right aisle of row 11. But if 1L and 2L are both being used, the rear cabin is less attractive as I might be shuffled out of 2L. I'm more likely to take rows 6 or 7. If only 2L is used, I'd take rows 2 or 3.

You are a person after my own heart @Danger
I wont judge … I applaud you👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I dont know which bit of my brain compels me to get an endorphin rush from pouches/gift with purchase/amenities kits etc 😂
Is it Marimekko?!?

Feel free to scoop mine up. Following an ultimatum from Mrs Pineapple, I recently took a sackful down to the local lifeline store, including a few Marimekko ones. They mostly should still be there.

WTF? Mrs Pineapple doesn't like Marimekko?

It was general; Mrs Pineapple took exception to my stockpile of amenities kits of all kinds. Top of her hate list are the QF pencil cases, Finnair just got caught in the crossfire.

That's brilliant! and I applaud your efforts, for, if nothing else, reducing the mess that J classes are often left in.
