Business class seats that do not lay flat, but rather the occupant has to wriggle down?

My wife and I had just been looking at the videos about that seat. Our consensus was that the demonstrator was a yoga instructor who was 5 feet ( 1.55m) tall. There seems to be very little room for my clodhoppers in the footwell. The tray table also looked very flimsy and small. The TV screens have also shrunk by 2" - a 20" monitor to 18" monitor.Business class seats that do not lay flat, but rather the occupant has to wriggle down?

I have also been happy with the current A350 seats, which are very similar to the CX seat, but slightly less space. I am not sure older persons with arthritic joints will enjoy wriggling out of their "nests".My wife and I had just been looking at the videos about that seat. I assume that it must save money and weight by not having a general recline function. I think that I prefer their old A350 seats as though they were not at all private they seem to have a bit more of a spacious look to them. Still it is a lot better than their Euro J class economy seats.
Yes, it’s no larger probably but it’s enhanced with Nordic vibes. They say they have enhanced the space.
Our favourite word! They say they have enhanced the space.
I flew AY a lot up to the recent forced covid break. I didn't mind their earlier staggered arrangement, but it seems that they will have to work hard to attract those of use with arthritic joints to take on this new arrangement.I'm keeping an open mind re these seats, and look forward to trying them out. Product wise they seem to fit Finnair's no fuss J product ( Note their menu's ex HEL on all long hauls are the same regardless of destination). They sort of remind me how I go on SQ J bed, sort of lolling about throughout the flight in random ways.
While I am sceptical about the new J seats the PE seats looked pretty good for that class. I didn't see anywhere if you get any other benefits regarding food, boarding etc.Finnair's also launching a new PE product - this is potentially good news if it reopens MEL-NRT-HEL with comfortable seating at a reasonable price (JL 787 Y on MEL-NRT; AY PE on NRT-HEL)...
(Sadly JL had moved their flights to HEL from NRT to HND a couple of years ago.)
