This is driving me mental !! I am trying to get two Iberia flights credited to my QF account. The Iberia website sucks and won't let me print out an e-ticket since I already flew the flights. I requested an invoice from my companies travel agency and that just tells me the price not the fare type. I know they were seamans tickets but not sure what class (other flights were L)

I have the e-ticket number and booking code but Qantas can't seem to do anything with that. Where can I find out what the class of the tickets were? Also if anyone works for Qantas, do you know why it is not possible to add Iberia flights to the "credit my ff" with partner airlines drop down box? Thanks !

Check my trip states "Economy restricted" it doesn't tell me the actual code. I also think Qantas are expecting some official document like a boarding pass or e-ticket - no idea how to get it now.. Thanks for the suggestion ! Things are never easy.. From now on I make sure I put the FF on my booking before I fly - saves so much trouble.

Thanks, didn't seem to be able to find my ticket. Might only accept LAN bookings. On the Iberia site I requested a copy of the e-ticket, which it sent to my email. But the class is only listed as "Lowest Fare", no mention of an actual code letter. I am assuming Qantas need an actual code letter, and Lowest Fare or Restricted Economy won't be acceptable?

Have you called them and explained what you need? They maybe able to email you something specific.

Is it an active booking still? Do you have an amadeus ref? If so, just add it to QF and it should then show you booking class.

I tried logging into Qantas to check my reservation and it loaded up, however it wouldn't let me add my FF number to the booking or see the class of the flights - it was greyed out.

I don't really understand what else I can send them since all the information I got is from the Iberia online check in. When I request a copy of my e-ticket, Iberia sends me a very basic summary of the flights without saying the exact class (only "Lowest Fare"). I understand the boarding passes would make it easier since they show the class but I can't find them. I will give them a call tonight and try explain the situation.

I've emailed Qantas with the e-ticket number, booking reference numbers and as much booking information that I have access to. The response was this:

Qantas said:
Thank you for contacting The Qantas Club and Frequent Flyer Service Centre.

I'm unable to process your claim for points as your boarding passes don't include all necessary details. If you could please send a copy of your ticketing information (paper or e-ticket) I'll be happy to credit your account as soon as possible.

The tickets allow me to check your transactions are eligible and ensure the correct number of points are allocated. The ticket shows us the fare type purchased, which governs how many points are to be credited if they're eligible.

You can fax the documents to +61 1300 305 747, or email [email protected] (we accept pdf, tif, gif, jpg, bmp and doc attachments). Alternatively, you can post them to:

Email/Call Iberia and ask for something in writing that includes "Fare Basis" Then you can send that to QF

Lesson for alll - always keep your BPs until they credit.

If you have to surrender them (e.g. JQ35 SYD-MEL), take a legible photo/copy.

In fact - do both!

That does not help the OP much however.

doesn't checkmytrip have a tab to display (and email) the e-ticket? If you can access your booking (it is not clear if you still can, from the above), you should be able to see your eticket. Hopefully. Possibly. Maybe

I have called/emailed Cathay Pacific and KLM and have received the details of the flights including fare class after I flew with them.

Unless of course you misplace them.

Still trying to credit to QF 2 CX business class flights in June! I actually have the proof from CX that I flew those legs but just trying to see how long it takes QF to process.
