Finally... WP.

Today I reached WP - and quite fittingly, the flight that tipped me over the edge was on RetroRoo.



AFF is a great resource, so thanks for everyone for being so free with their time. I've learnt a lot, and the tips and tricks have made traveling a lot more enjoyable to the point where planning that next flight is almost as exciting as the actual trip.

I'll try make it to an event one day if I can.

I hit QF Platinum yesterday also, never thought I'd even get close to Gold with the big red roo.

Due to an upgrade have popped my Flounge cherry with a visit in MEL a couple of weeks ago (it was excellent), and I want to take advantage a whole lot more!

Now I just need 10SC more in the next month to retain my VA Plat for another year as well, for the double platinum experience

Also does anyone have any idea when welcome packs get sent out (or even welcome emails?) I hit SG about 3 weeks ago, haven't received anything in the mail, or even a welcome email, yet all the QF emails I've been receiving have been branded in Gold...
I was lucky enough my status came through on my boarding passes so I didn't need my card to get into AA lounges in the states on my last trip, but it'd be nice to get the card sometime!

Seriously now, Hvr speaks words of wisdom. I got to WP just the once (so far) and made sure I ticked off the Sydney F lounge. Now SG and staring down the barrel of PS, it was well worth the effort.

No, I was flying up to BNE on 618, but I believe it often does back and forth BNE-MEL runs.

As soon as I can! No Int travel on the cards right now until later in the year - fingers crossed sooner rather than later! Very keen to check it out. BNE's international lounges are terrible.
