Firstly - many thanks for all the expert and detailed advice I have been utilising since joining some 10 months ago. There are clearly a number of very experienced flyers who are regularly and generously sharing their knowledge with the AFF community.

The anonymity of this forum allows some openness :

I fly with my family, usually for leisure, mostly to Europe 2-3 times a year in F via LHR - QF 9/10 or QF 1/2.
Domestically we mostly fly to Queensland, Sydney and Hobart.
I never pay for international flights, as I am fortunate enough to earn plenty of points via my Amex. Have previously been booking classic awards only and had no status, but recently (thanks to AFF) started booking FASAs, hence currently Gold and should be WP by July. I will loose status once mASA system is abolished, but will probably continue to fly Qantas (although I am probably of little financial value to them...)

Now that I have introduced myself - I hope I can also contribute to AFF.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Thank you everyone for your welcomes.
Now - to get started. The site is huge and it's difficult to know where to start. I can already sense how addictive this can be - why is it so addictive ?
Perhaps someone could point me in the correct direction - is there a table somewhere with an up to date table with various credit cards, their earn rate and also indicating if they have a spend limit. My NAB Qantas Amex still lets me make payments to ATO, but I don't know for how much longer and I thought I better start looking at other options.
Thanks

start with the credit card threads. Especially the ATO one. Start at the end and work back.

Oh, and welcome
