FF Status not showing up in BP on iOS

Hi All,

Off late I have seen that a number of times the boarding pass does not show the FF status. Has happened to me a few times, any one aware of how to fix it ? I have checked in using the qantas app on iphone so FF details should definitely be there.

Not end of the world but would be keen to find a fix.

What is the colour of your mobile boarding pass? I think that's how your status is shown (instead of explicit wording)?

Odd. Have you tried using AY MMB to re-enter your QF FF number?

Not sure what AY means, but yes, did update the FF number. Funniest I encountered is the one where SYD - BNE BP was white and one coming back was Red.. well the first world problems.

AY = Finnair

You can use their manage-my-booking facility (with your QF booking ref) to update your details. It often works in forcing through changes when they don't stick with QF's MMB.

Who does your bookings - self or a company?

Some companies never bother to put employees ffn in the booking so it's best to check the MMB portal then add the ffn if necessary. Then allocate your seat which can be done any time once the booking is made. A lot of ppl think you can't allocate a seat until T-24 but that is when OCLI & mobile check opens.

People can still do mobile checkin without their ffn in the booking so it's possible that's what happened to you.

thanks oz. travel desk does the booking but the system feeds the FF number.
I use the Qantas app for doing check in so it jdeally shud link the booking with FF number. coming over from velocity camp I track my points and SC earn
majority of my travel tickets are booked in under the 24 hpir window so online checkin and seat selection work.
I can't still understand why Qantas does not use rear stair boarding. on a 1 hr flight i found row 29/30 aisle to be perfect and quicker off than row 3/4.

Printed boarding passes are useful when claiming uncredited points and status credits.

But that is what the little printed receipt is for when you get your card scanned.
