Hi All,

I have been looking everywhere and get different info everywhere ??

We have an awards booking from MEL - LAX (Qantas) then HNL - MEL (Jetstar) on the same booking number. Now i am clear with what baggage we get on Qantas but when it come to the Jetstar leg is where it gets a bit confusing.

On our booking it just says 2 pieces so not sure on the weight limits. I found this on the Qantas site about classic award bookings with Jetstar

https://www.qantas.com/fflyer/dyn/memberSpecials/jetstar-classic-awards

It has a bit on whats included and a baggage link which takes you here

Checked Baggage Allowance | Qantas

If i look at the section for travel in North & South America it says 2 pieces at 23kg each.

So is this right we get 2 @23kg each??

Thanks

Can you view your eticket as that should display the baggage allowance. Alternatively what's on your itinerary that would've been emailed to you upon booking?

Have a look at www.checkmytrip.com and enter your QF booking reference.

I'm thinking you may get 2 pieces each on the QF MEL/LAX flight then 20kg pp HNL/MEL on JQ.

It would be 2 x 23 kg pp in that case which is approx 50 lbs on their scales.
