Feedback on the AFF website & brand refresh

Not sure if others see it the same way, but for me, there is not enough colour contrast for small font sizes when presented in the light blue colour against the purple background. Makes it difficult to read. Larger font sizes don't really suffer from that issue so much.

Also, looking at the toolbar for creating a new post... Comparing the new version to the old -:

In the new site theme, the toolbar icons all give the appearance of being disabled/inactive given how greyed out they are, especially when compared to the "Classic" theme. Sure, if you hover over the icons then the colours change and it becomes more obvious that they are indeed active and selectable, but at first glance, it sure looks like all of the formatting options are unusable.

Link colours in posts are SUPER difficult to see in the new theme....

Sure, if you hover over it then the link becomes clear as day, but that purple link font colour contrasts very poorly against the standard grey font colour.

Another vote that this blue is very hard to read.

The below text, both black and blue, is hard to read against the purple.

And the toolbar looks extremely ghosted out and disabled.Toolbar.png

Had to check I hadn't logged into to a fake site at first as the font looks a bit childish to me.
Sorry, but the bubble style font reminds me of school projects and such.
I am sure, in time, I will forget what the old site looked like, and will add this to my list of "back in my day we didn't have to keep changing everything" whinges.
Nice to see you attempting to keep things fresh and I guess this is what the young ones are looking for.
(will take off my grumpy old person hat now)
