fare basis code question

    What position in the fare basis code indicates the fare class?

    Is it the first position?

    For example;
    vqfma23

    Is this a V class fare?
    Registered Users don't see this and have the option of removing all other advertisements.  Register HERE

    Yes, every fare basis I have seen shows the fare code in the first character.
