A dyslexic finger slip saw me book a day early for our Dubai stopover, en route to Casablanca.
I emailed the hotel to confirm availability and was a tad miffed to be told I had the date wrong.
I had booked the room with Qantas Hotels , an online booking and paid in advance.
This booking was non cancellable , non changeable, non refundable.
Shrugging my shoulders , I was about to book another room.
SWMBO is made of tighter stuff, and was a study in conciliation as she spoke to the roo.
Qantas have actively pursued an poorly responding hotel , to this afternoon confirm a change of date.
We have even received a small refund on account of the exchange rate
This was outstanding , above and beyond service from Qantas, and I say very well done.
